The research team at Optimed Research in Columbus, Ohio is currently recruiting patients for a clinical research study for individuals chronic obstructive pulmonary disease. During the study, participants will receive study-related care for their COPD, which may include investigational study medications, physical exams, routine blood work and an EKG (Electrocardiogram) heart test. The study is completely voluntary and participants may discontinue at any time.

There are no costs or health insurance needed and you do not need a physician referral to participate. As part of the screening process, candidates may be given a complimentary lung function analysis.

Eligibility

Study participants must meet a number of different criteria, including

  • You suffer from COPD
  • You are over 40 years old
  • You are a current or former smoker
  • You are available for morning weekday appointments
  • You are NOT on oxygen therapy for more than 12 hours a day
  • You are not pregnant or nursing

Compensation
